There will be at least three – four in-person gatherings per year. In late June / early July, we will have our Summer Growth Conference, during which we will host the CHBA Annual Awards Celebration to
recognize those companies that had the best results in the prior year. At this event in 2025, we will
recognize the Top 50 Home Builders from 2024. In 2026, this will expand to Top 100, Top 250 in 2027
and Top 500 in 2028. We are picking this time of year to allow companies to get their prior-year
Books closed, get them to our Benchmarking agency, giving them time to tabulate the information
and then getting us past the early June Graduation season. This is also about when you should
start planning for next year.
Then in January, we will have an event somewhere warm where the focus will be on operations and hiring to make sure that you are ready to go.
In addition to these two events, we also plan to be at IBS in Las Vegas In February and Chicago Build
Expo in October. The coaches will be available for one- and two-hour blocks of time at these events with the first to sign up being the first to be served. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we will
take someone who is there on standby.
If you can’t make it to the Summer Growth Conference, and January Operations sessions will be
recorded and available in a section of the member portal for members at this level.

You will receive one free imprompt for a quality audit per year.Â
The directions on how to pass it are included at level #2 so hopefully nobody ever fails a quality audit. However, if you should fail the first inspection, you have the option to be re-inspected for an additional $5,000. If you fail a second time, you will get one more shot at passing for an additional $5,000. If you fail three times you will no longer be eligible for the organization as we must limit membership to only those builders who are building quality homes.
You will be provided with one of our coaches for an intensive, on-site two-day workshop with your team to work on anything that you want to work on. If it’s a bigger issue than what can get packed into two days, the coaches are available for additional coaching at an additional cost, but this ensures that you are putting in two days of work on your processes and systems every year.
One of the main reasons that we have a hard time getting credit is that the lending institutions don’t have a way to tell who a good builder is and who is not, so they treat all as being in the not bucket. This will give a standardized metric that all custom home builders can be measured by.
